Forbes published India’s Rich List of 100 billionaires for 2023, the accumulative wealth of 100 people on the list is worth $775 billion. This year many newcomers entered India’s Rich 100 list and many billionaires dropped out of the list. Reliance Industries owner and chairman, Mukesh Ambani topped the list with a net worth of $92.7 billion, adding $4 billion more in 2020.

At the top of the list is Reliance Industries Chairman, Mukesh Ambani India’s richest person with a net worth of $92.7 billion. He is India’s richest person since 2008, and the world’s 10th wealthiest person at the current time. As of January 15, 2023, Ambani’s net worth is $102.1 billion.
Founder of Adani Group, Gautam Adani is in 2nd place on this list, with a net worth of $74.8 billion. Adani’s 2020 net worth is $25.4 billion, 196% ($49.6 billion) wealth gain this year.
Third place was secured by the founder and chairman of HCL Technologies, Shiv Nadar with a net worth of $31 billion, gaining $10.6 billion in 2023.
Radhakishan Damani, investor, businessman, and founder of DMart is the 4th richest person in India, with a net worth of $29.4 billion, adding 14 billion more this year.
Vaccine king founder of Serum Institute of India (SII), Cyrus S. Poonawalla is 5th place on the list, with a net worth of 19 billion.
Indian Steel Magnate, Lakshmi Niwas Mittal secured 6th place in the list, with a net worth of $18.8 billion.
Savitri Jindal, chairperson of Jindal Group only woman on this list at 7th place, with a net worth of $18 billion. She added $11.4 billion this year and entered the top 10 clubs for the first time.
Billionaire banker, Founder, and MD of Kotak Mahindra Bank, Uday Kotak is the 8th richest Indian with a net worth of $16.5 billion.
Pallonji Shaporji Mistry, Chairman of Shaporji Pallonji Group, holds 9th place in the rich list with a net worth of $16.4 billion. He is the oldest Indian billionaire at age of 92.
Chairman of Aditya Birla Group, Kumar Mangalam Birla is the 10th richest Indian with a net worth of $15.8 billion.
